Interactive Mirror

De interactieve spiegel, ontworpen door Alpay Kazal staat leuk in elk interieur en nog meer in publieke plaatsen. Zoals de naam al suggereert, gaat het over een spiegel die op een interactieve manier omgaat met zijn gebruiker. Door deze spiegel aan te raken kunnen gebruikers spelletjes spelen, tekenen, en andere leuke dingen doen.
Deze bronnenstudie is interessant voor ons project omdat het elementen uit beide concepten gebruikt : enerzijds de spiegel, anderzijds de touchscreen-applicatie.

The World’s First Sustainable Dance Club opens in Rotterdam

Home to a thriving young, creative, and diverse population, Rotterdam is the ideal location for Watt. The new club functions as an iconic representation of what the Sustainable Dance Club group is trying to replicate in nightclubs and festivals around the world: an environmentally aware, interactive, sustainable experience.
Watt features a variety of sustainable strategies that include the use of energy-efficient LED lighting instead of powerhungry spotlights, a rainwater catchment system that supplies water for its toilets, and waterless urinals which will save an expected 1000 cubic meters of water per year.

The club’s LED laden dance floor converts each dancer’s kinetic energy, allowing it to power itself.

We are used to psychedelic lightings on dance floors but Oyana Plaza in Tokyo, Japan evolves audiovisual images simply by tapping on the floor. United Visual Artists have created an interactive floor – Contact that combines computer vision techniques, physics simulation, unique display surface and kinetic energy evolved by dancers to create visual wonders that change according to movement and interaction. The aimless dancing in the discothèques and parties would attain a creative dimension if you have an interactive floor.
